Description: Get our CEO's new book, Become a Content Brand HERE: bit.ly/videofortbook This book is the culmination of 10 years of creating content for over 180 brands like Redbull, Coldwell Banker, Amazon, Sandisk, Boeing and Marriott Hotels. If you want to learn the secrets on how we built up a multi-million dollar video production agency + a stock footage company that brings in over $150k in passive revenue a year, you need to check out "Become a Content Brand." In this epic new After Effects tutorial I'll show you the basics of compositing. For fun & cool ideas check out Edgar Wright's "Scott Pilgrim vs The World" movie where he uses this effect all over the place. Compositing is the building blocks of After Effects. In this tutorial, I'll show you how to add PNG files, create your own burst effect by using solids and adding animations. Precomposing your layers is a big part of speeding up the process and you will see why here. Also don't be afraid to use the Rotobrush tool to do some rotoscoping of your subject. The rotoscoping will help you separate your foreground from the background making it easier to composite other images/files/animations. No plugins are required. KEYS TO SUCCESS: • Precompose your heart bursts. • Use the rotobrush to separate your subject from the background. • Use solids & the pen tool to create your bursts.
